Sexy Ileana is stepping into Bollywood shortly but popular men’s magazines have already eyed this hour glass glamor queen to make her their pinup girl on the January 2011 issue.

Ileana has been exploring new frontiers these days after been more focused on Tollywood. She re-entered Kollywood with Shankar’s Nanban opposite Vijay and is all set to make her Bollywood debut with 'Barfee' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. She has been the reigning queen of Telugu cinema for over a period of five years. Ileana is hoping for the same reception at Bollywood too.

Isai Puyal Rahman is scoring the music for the film and the musician has shared a rare picture, featuring him along with the ace director Mani Ratnam. AR Rahman has updated about the picture, “While brainstorming with Mani Ratnam in the middle of the sea, down in the south of India.”

In the same manner actor Arvind Swamy who is also part of the cast has updated, “On location for Kadal…the sea looks beautiful.”  Hope the magic of Roja continues in Kadal too as it marks the coming together of Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman and Arvind Swamy.

The film’s shooting started on March 5 and has Gautham, son of Karthik and actress Samantha in the lead. The film also has Lakshmi Manchu, veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu’s daughter, who is making her Tamil debut. Arjun and Thambi Ramiah are also part of the cast.

Arya has bought a swanking new flat located in Greams Road, Chennai and had invited his close friends from the film fraternity for the house warming ceremony.

Surprisingly, Nayantara was present and she was the person to light the auspicious Kuthuvilakku in the flat. Others present include Vishal and Udhayanidhi Stalin.

It's only the second time that Nayantara is visiting Chennai after her much-publicized breakup with Prabhudeva happened. It's also notable that Nayantara is actively reading scripts these days in an effort to attain what she had left behind.

Trisha has been shooting for her Telugu film with Jr. NTR and Vishal's Samaran without taking a break for almost 3 months.

Trisha was forced to slow down when she came down with a severe viral flu. Doctors advised bed rest for a week, so Trisha returned to Chennai and her home to be nursed back to health by her mother.

Fans started drowning her in messages enquiring about her health and Trisha was deeply touched with the love and warmth.

Trisha has been recuperating and spending quality time with her loved ones and beloved dogs. She has said that she is feeling much better and will return to the sets of the Jr NTR film in a week's time.

Kamal Haasan has done it again!

The actor's film Viswaroopam has been wrapped up in record time and has made the deadline for Cannes, the prestigious film festival. The powers at Cannes extended the deadline so that Viswaroopam could be entered in the competitive category and Kamal did not let them down.

The cast of Viswaroopam includes, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor, Pooja Kumar, Andrea and has music by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

Nayanthara's big comeback film is Vishnuvardhan's film with Ajith and Arya.

This film is most likely to be released in Telugu as well since the director and the stars have a big market there.

Nayantara will also be part of a bilingual to be released in Tamil and Telugu directed by Boopathy Pandian which has Telugu star, Gopichand as the hero. Gopichand can be recalled as the actor who played villain in Jeyam.

In addition to this big film, Nayanthara has signed a film in Telugu with Nagarjuna called Dasaradh.

The latest is that Krish who gave us Vaanam in Tamil has roped her in for his Telugu film Krishnum Vande Jagatgurum with Rana Dagubatti.

Nayan is picking her films with care as she only wants to do films that will give her scope to perform.

Early in the morning at 4 a.m. might not be a time when the airport is abuzz with reporters trying to get a few bytes. But, it was so on Saturday morning as the principal team of Kochadaiyaan arrived to board their flight to London.

Rajinikanth was in high spirits and said a few words. He said that the team was off on a 20-25 day long schedule during which they will be shooting a couple of songs and some talkie portions. The next schedule would be in Chennai itself, he added.


Rajini expressed confidence that Kochadaiyaan would come out as a good product and said that the film should hit theatres sometime after Diwali. Finally, he said that after Kochadaiyaan’s completion, Rana would definitely take off.

Superstar saying that Rana is sure to happen after Kochadaiyaan lays to rest many rumors that Kochadaiyaaan is in fact a reworked version of the original Rana script. Also, with Rajinikanth saying that Kochadiayaan will release only after Diwali, the nearest possible date is Pongal 2013 because of the new Producer’s Council regulation which allows major releases only on 5 occasions in a calendar year.

The team that took the flight to London today consisted of Rajinikanth, Soundarya and K.S. Ravikumar. Another part of the team consisting of Sarath Kumar and a few others is set to take a flight to London on the 21st.

Music can do wonders and music director and singer George Peter has utilised the power of music to create unity in the country.

George Peter along with his friends has come up with a multi-lingual song and the final mixing and mastering of the same is happening in A.R Rahman’s studio. The major attraction of this song is that several big stars and singers have joined together to promote brotherhood and unity in diversity.

Recently Anushka got an endorsement deal for a toothpaste brand that Trisha had been endorsing for the last three years.
