Jayam Ravi and Trisha are getting back together in Boologam after their superhit Unakkum Enakkum.

Directed by Kalyana Krishnan, Boologam is being canned in a massive urban set, erected on a 50-acre land.

Jayam Ravi has not only taken up the role of an action hero but also plays a major part in the comic portions of the film.

Trisha, after a long time is starring as a college girl in this entertainer with Prakash Raj as the bad guy being sketched as a different role, says the director.

Southern siren Shriya Saran sports a lacy lingerie and adorns the cover of the August 2012 issue of popular Men's magazine Maxim. She even went ahead posing topless for a wide-spread that has grabbed the targetted eye balls in the North, where the magazine is comparatively famolus.

The glamdoll has supposedly made this move to draw attention and one would admit that Shriya didn't fail at her intention.

The actor has filmed for her part in Deepa Mehta's 'Midnight's Children' and is also a part of 'Zilla Ghaziabad' that  is awaiting its release.

Presently the actor is busy shooting for her Tamil-Kannada bilingual Chandra, starring Ganesh Venkatraman, Prem Kumar, Sukanya, Vivek and Sumithra.

Kalki Koechlin, an acclaimed actor for her performance oriented roles in films like Dev D, Shaitan & Shanghai has been making waves in Bollywood with her choice of roles in mainstream as well as offbeat films.

The actor who was basically raised in Pondicherry is French and is very fluent in Tamil as she completed her schooling in Ooty.

Though Kalki  is French, she admits that she is an Indian at heart.

Kalki is very much interested in doing Tamil films as she was a fan of Tamil movies like Kaakha Kaakha and Subramaniapuram during her growing-up years.

It must be noted that Amy Jackson, who is a British national, is currently among the prominent heroines in Tamil now working opposite Vikram for 'Thaadavam' after her debut with 'Madarasapattinam'.

Will Kalki also follow suit?

Trisha Krishnan is amongst the longest surviving heroines currently with a good market in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries.

The actor who still looks as gorgeous as she did during her early days has worked against time completing a decade in cinema with her immense talents in both cinematic acting and dancing.

The Telugu film industry recently honored Trisha by awarding her the distinction on completing a decade in cinema during The Santosham Film Awards.

The humbled actor who has acted with almost all the Superstars in the industry received the award from Universal Hero Kamal Haasan and went on thanking her family, friends and everyone in the industry for supporting her success in completing a decade of acting career in cinema.

Trisha shared her excitement with her fans across the globe through the social networking micro-blogging website Twitter. She tweeted,

As reported earlier actor/comedian Santhanam is turning producer with a comedy film titled 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' co-starring Power Star Dr. Srinivasan in the lead.

The comedian who had recently put on his dancing shoes for hit numbers like 'Venam Machaan Venam' and 'Quarter patthala' to good effect recently canned a kuthu dance number with his sweet looking heroine Vishakha Singh.

"The new kuthu number performed by Santhanam and Vishaka for the tune composed by Thaman has come out very well," said our souces.

The shooting of this film now progressing faster towards its completion is now in news for Santhanam's dance number with stills from the film doing the rounds on social-networking websites.

Kajal Aggarwal is currently among the foremost heroines in Tamil with two of the most happening projects in her kitty.

The gorgeous looking actor has A.R Murgadoss' Thuppakki and K.V Anand's Maatraan releasing this year opposite Vijay and Suriya respectively.

The song sequences for both Maatraan and Thuppakki have been planned to be canned in the pristine locales of Europe next week and the actor is expecting to juggle between her respective co-stars to shoot for a romantic dance duet for each of their  films.

Coincidentally, Harris Jayaraj is the composer for both the films that are highly expected to release this year.

Anirudh Ravichander, the renowned composer of "Why this Kolaveri Di" recently made it to headlines being lauded for his music composition for the Aishwarya Dhanush directed psychological thriller '3' starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead.

The composer has hit the news again, when few pictures of his intimate moment with South Indian actor/singer Andrea Jeremiah was leaked online. These photos started spreading like wildfire and are still there on popular social media networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

There were two extensive photos in which, one of them shows a close up shot of Anirudh and Andrea locking each others lips and another one where Anirudh hugs Andrea and kisses her cheek from her back.

Till now there has been no confirmation of the fact if the pictures are morphed or real. But the video footage and other pics from YouTube has been removed due to copyright issues.

Both Anirudh and Andrea are yet to come out in the open to speak about these leaked captures of their intimate moment.

Kajal Aggarwal, one of the most sought after actors in the South Indian film industry has worked with almost all the top actors in the South and with a few in the north.

In a recent interview, Kajal said that she had always wanted to act, dance and romance with a wholesome actor like Vijay.

The actor in awe who is now paired up with Vijay in Thuppakki, praised her co-star of his dancing and acting skills.

Kajal also went on to disclose that of all the actors whom she has acted with, Vijay is the most different one.

“Vijay is good at romance, action, dancing and even in humour,” exclaimed Kajal Aggarwal whilst revealing her working experience with Vijay, A.R Murgadoss and the 'Thupakki' team.

Maattrraan’s second teaser was released along the grand audio release function held in Singapore on 9th September, 2012. Suriya, Karthi, actor Sivakumar and his wife, Harris Jayaraj and family, KV Anand, Gautham Menon, A.L Vijay, Lingusamy, Hari, Thamarai, Peter Hein and many more celebrities graced the event.

The new trailer is gaining popularity in the internet and is creating more curiosity. During the end of the trailer, there is a scene where Akilan, Vimalan and Kajal are watching K.V Anand’s previous film Ko. In this scene one of the two Suriyas teases saying, “Why does this director bring in a song every time somebody dies in his film?”

This is not the first time K.V Anand has used his sense of humour to mock himself. In Ko, he had made Pia Bhajpai, who plays a journalist, take on his own film Ayan. He probably will bring in sarcasm on Maattrraan in his next film.

Another director who uses a similar tactic to bring a smile among the audience is Gautham Menon. He had mocked his own film Vaaranam Aayiram in Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya. In VTV, one of Simbu’s dialogues was, “Few guys even go to America in search of their love. I just came to Allepey".

Gautham Menon has always been a busy man. He's currently working on his upcoming bilingual 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' that is being simultaneously shot in Telugu as 'Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu' starring Jiiva and Nani respectively in the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film with Samantha Ruth Prabhu playing the lead in both the films.

The ace director has future projects such as Yohan: Adhyaayam Ondru with Vijay and Thuppariyum Anandhan with Suriya to keep him occupied for another year. Meanwhile, he is also producing a film, Thanga Meengal, directed by Katradhu Tamizh fame Ram.

On why he decided to produce Thanga Meengal, he said "Aamir Khan's 'Taare Zameen Par (2007) had inspired me to take up a film on a social issue and that is when Ram presented me with the beautiful script," said the director. He also added that it was he who forced Ram to do the central character as Gautham felt that only Ram can understand the complete nuances of the script.

The film stars Ram, Sadhana, Sally, Padmapriya and Rohini. Yuvan Shankar Raja has again collaborated with Ram after Katradhu Thamizh. Arabind Sara is handling the camera and Sreekar Prasad is editing the film.

UTV is currently busy with two of the most promising projects in the pipeline, Mugamoodi and Thaandavam. Both of these teams are now working on tight deadlines and UTV is also giving their best to support these teams as they get ready for release.

Mugamoodi is being planned for censorship next week. The film is set for an August 31st release and the entire shoot has been wrapped up including the song shoots in exotic European locales.

UTV's Dhananjayan updated so, in his micro-blogging page.
