Earlier there were reports that Shruthi Haasan would be performing for an item number in the Ram Charan Teja starrer 'Naayak' directed by V.V Vinayak and co-starring Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul in the lead.

Shruti rubbished these as baseless rumors and said that she has no such intentions of becoming an item girl any soon.

The hot-sexy damsel who recently received accolades for her roles in the Dhanush starrer '3' and 'Gabbar Singh' with Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with a Hindi film helmed by choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva.

This yet to be titled Hindi film is a remake of  Prabhu Deva's 2005 Telugu hit 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' and would launch producer Kumar Taurani's son Girish Kumar as the hero with Shruti Haasan, Randhir Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Vinod Khanna forming the rest of the cast.
