The much-hyped cop film of Shraddha Das for which the actor had learnt martial arts has been reportedly shelved.Shraddha had given her best shot in filming couple of action sequences for this untitled film that has her playing a fiery cop, but the producer had to stop the shoot for unexplained reasons. However, Shraddha Das, who pinned her hopes on this author-backed role, says, “I don’t think it’s shelved and the project is on.”
The actor doesn’t have to lose hope since her next film Mogudu directed by Krishna Vamsi is set for release. Krishna Vamsi is one of those directors wellknown for showcasing the beauty of the female lead in an aesthetic manner.
“It’s a swashbuckling role and could give my career a lift,” said Shraddha.The glam diva is enjoying her 'single status' after splitting up with actor Varun Sandesh.
Shraddha’s sworn never to fall in love with an actor again. “No way am I going there again,” she concludes.
Starring Gopichand, Tapasee and Shraddha Das, Mogudu portrays the relationship between a wife and husband like Krishna Vamsi's earlier films that dealt with family bonds and relationships.
Mogudu is expected to release this month end and both Shraddha and Tapasee are eagerly awaiting its release. The surprise factor of this film would be the appearance of veteran actor Rajendra Prasad who plays a key role in this film.
