While Trisha is to start shooting alongside Vishal for Samaran, the actress was signed for her next big project in Tollywood with none other than Junior NTR, one of the leading heroes in Tollywood. According to the source, Trisha has a bagged the role in Dhammu to be paired up with Jr. NTR for the first time. It is reported that the role offered to Trisha is on par with that of the hero’s and the actress is very happy to have signed on the dotted line.
The Dhammu team's frantic search for a leading lady started after Shruti Haasan, who was reportedly offered the lead role, walked out at the last moment following a Bollywood offer to star opposite Aamir Khan.
Interestingly, it was a buzz that actress Kajal Aggarwal would be starring opposite Jr. NTR until it was finally decided that Trisha would be more apt for the role.
The shooting for this film is said to have started at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad as the heroine has also given her assent.
The other actress who will be sharing screen space with Jr NTR and Trisha in this flick is Karthika, who is yet to sign on any Tamil film post Ko.
