But Tamil cinema is different and I am hoping to do more projects here," she said.

Remakes of a South superhit film might not always have the same fate in Bollywood.
While 'Ek Deewana Tha' Tamil (Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa) and Telugu (Ye Maaya Chesave) versions were huge hits, the Hindi version failed to excite the audience.
Director Gowtham Menon's unique way of giving the viewers the choice of two ending did not help the film either as somewhere audiences were disappointed with the film in entirety.

Soha's role would borrow quite a lot from yesteryear film, Anupama, in which her mother, actor Sharmila Tagore, was seen as a suppressed daughter.
“Nothing and no one is ever how they seem. I’m very excited about the role,” Soha was quoted as saying.

Sunny Leone, the famous Indo - Canadian pornstar, whose claim to fame in India was Big Boss 5, is now very much a part of our Bollywood fraternity.
Mahesh Bhatt, known for his keen eye for fresh faces, noticed Sunny on the show, and now the sensuous actor will be making her Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt's JISM 2.
Sunny Leone has also found a fan in ace director Ram Gopal Varma, who wants to cast her in his movie as well. Expressing this desire to her so called 'guardian' Mahesh Bhatt, RGV was requested to go ahead, but on two conditions; that his movie be released only after JISM 2, and to give an equally sensuous role to Sunny in his movie.
It is found out that RGV has not taken Bhatt's demands kindly, and is extremely annoyed with the Bhatt camp. He is now completely rubbishing news of approaching Mahesh Bhatt, to cast the sensuous soon to be Bollywood actress!
Looks like Mahesh is definitely looking after Sunny Leone's best interests. After all, she is his discovery!

This phase of regret has to do with her last film DESI BOYZ in which Chitrangada tried to go for some image makeover but did not quite make it.

According to reliable sources, "Chitrangada has fully realized the folly of trying to move away from her serious image as an actress. The audiences have not accepted her despite many filmmakers going gaga over her sensuous looks. Now, with JOKER, in which she has a fun loving character too, chances are slim that Chitrangada can look convincing in such a role after being associated for breaking the stereotype with her earlier films."
While it would be interesting to watch how Chitrangada fares in her item girl image in JOKER, the fact is that going back to doing some serious roles is the best counsel she can take home.
Vidya Balan, whose film count includes mostly female-oriented themes, says the film industry changed over the years and co-incidentally she has become the face of this change.
"I believe that change doesn't happen overnight, it takes time. I am lucky that today when we are feeling the change, it's a co-incidence that I have become a face of this change," she said in an interview.
Vidya gave strong performances in "Ishqiya", "Paa", "No One Killed Jessica" and " The Dirty Picture". The 33-year-old, who will be seen next in Sujoy Ghosh's "Kahaani", feels lucky to be present at a time when such stories are being written.
"I am lucky to be a part of Indian cinema at a time when such stories and roles are being written and I am getting a chance to be a part of such good films. I try to do my work honestly. It feels great to get so much love from the people," said Vidya who had stormed the industry with her very first film "Parineeta" in 2005.
Releasing March 9, "Kahaani" is a thriller and shows a pregnant woman's struggle to find her missing husband in Kolkata.

- Poonam Pandey, the Twitter sensation that started a niche of posting scantily clad pictures on Twitter is never shy of posting hot pictures. The 'Bold Babe of Twitter' loves to flaunt her body and keeps giving her 'tweethearts' a daily dose of sensuality.
- After her brief stint in Big Boss 5, The Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone is now a household name. Her profession, nevertheless, did not prove to be a hurdle for her to get a plum offer from director Mahesh Bhatt. The internet trends are proof about Sunny's popularity in a "conservative" country like India.
- Sexy Starlet Sherlyn Chopra is one woman trying to touch the 'heights' of boldness giving competition to none other but Sunny Leone. It is perhaps the reason why she struck a nude pose in the same way as the promotional poster of Jism 2. She also posted some of her own nude pictures on Twitter cleverly concealing her assets.
- The Pakistani model-actress is considered the most controversial in almost all of South Asia. This is not an overstatement because when Veena posed in the nude for the FHM India cover page, she took the internet world by storm and remained in trends for the next few days. Her act invited the ire of the conservatives in her country. Adding to it, she posed with an ISI tattoo on her arm in the picture which was enough to raise many serious questions.
- She is the latest entrant in this league. Ever since the pretty Anushka posed somewhat boldly for Thierry Mugler, she has been compared to the other bold queens who have garnered enough media attention. Anushka Sharma hit the headlines with a dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. However, she has failed to deliver a major hit after it. Is this the reason she is turning bold?

Kamal had earlier began the film with much fanfare in the year 1997 but after a few days of shoot, it had to be shelved due to various reasons.
Some said that Marudhanayagam is not commercially viable and that was the major reason for the project put in the backburner. Now, the situation is much better and Kamal is looking forward to revive the project.

It looks like Asin's wish to act with the King Khan is now about to come true as she is all set to sign on the dotted line for a film with Shahrukh Khan himself.
The film will be based on the book - Two States: The Story of My Marriage by Chetan Bhagat.

In the book, the female protagonist is a Tamilian and Asin's Southern roots make her an apt choice. Besides she is very comfortable with the producer having worked with him earlier in the sequel of Houseful.
