Anjali who had acted in Angaadi Theru and Jai of Subramaniapuram are donning the lead roles in the film Engeyum Eppodhum. This film which has been directed by A R Murugadoss’s assistant Saravanan is being released on 16th of September and at this juncture there is news that Anjali and Jai are in love.Recently, A press meet for this film was held and actors Jai aad Anjali had participated in the event. When the media asked Jai about his ongoing romance with Anjali, " I am not in love with Anjali" replied Jai. I have only acted in the love scenes with Anjali for this film - Engeyum Eppodhum. Only that is the truth. The thing I like about Anjali is her acting.”
Anjali said, “Jai acts well. He will also cook well. That’s all. We are mere friends and not lovers. I am a young girl and I've just started growing up. I have not thought about marriage.”
