After the crushing loss to England in the second ODI, an exasperated Indian skipper has urged his team-mates to raise the level of their game for the sake of Poonam Pandey’s honour. The hot 19-year old model has of late been uploading her semi-nude pictures hours before Team India takes the field in a bid to motivate the boys, and had most recently uploaded a picture of her shapely posterior on Twitter.
Admonishing the boys in the dressing room after the match, an emotionally agitated Dhoni said, “Poonam behna, by posing semi-nude after every loss, is conveying symbolically that Mother India’s izzat is being violated. We need to now get back to our winning ways so that our beloved sister’s honour can be restored.”
Dhoni’s ‘game-changing’ speech seems to have resonated with the boys, some of whom were on the verge of tears. “Poonam behna ki izzat ka savaal hai. abhi baaki match jitney hi padenge,” sniffed bits and pieces cricketer Praveen Kumar, who hitherto had nursed unseemly, puerile thoughts about Poonam and had attributed baser motives to her noble acts.
“Do you now want Poonam behna to show her twin assets also after we lose the next ODI?” shouted Dhoni to which the team answered in unison “NOOOO!!! Poonam behna ke liye jitenge aur ussey sharminda nahin hone denge.”
Ravi Shastri, who was also present during the dressing room discussion, has given full marks to the Indian skipper for leadership, saying: “This is just what the doctor ordered.”
Team India’s reaction has left Poonam Pandey nonplussed. “Er…I wanted to motivate them for altogether different reasons. But yeah, whatever works for Team India,” she shrugged over the phone to The Unreal Times. The dusky model has however clarified that she will continue to expose even if Team India gets back to its winning ways, saying “aakhir career ka savaal hai”.
